Not Familair with Buying on eBay.
Read These eBay Tips!!

Buying on eBay is very simple and easy. Read these steps by step tips.

Registration

Registration is required in order to buy or sell on eBay. As a registered eBay user, you can shop on eBay and participate in the world's largest online community of buyers and sellers.

The registration information consists of your contact and basic personal info, email address, user id and password.

How to Bid

When you find an item you're interested in, use these steps to place a bid.

1. Carefully review the item listing.

* Look at the Item Description first. Is it really what you want?

* Check the Meet the Seller box to learn more about the seller.

* See if you can Buy It Now for the seller's specified price instead of bidding for the item.

* If it is an auction-style listing, check Current bid and Time left and click the Place Bid button on the item page.

* Submit a Bid or Buy It Now only after you are satisfied with all the details! By bidding or buying you are entering into a legal contract to purchase the item.

2. Enter your maximum bid. eBay suggests that you bid the maximum amount that you're willing to pay for an item (you won’t necessarily pay that amount).

As the listing proceeds, eBay compares your bid to those of other bidders. When you’re outbid, eBay will automatically bid on your behalf up to your maximum bid. eBay increases your bid by increments only as much as necessary to maintain your high bid position.

To help you avoid being outbid, eBay offers 1-click bids during the final 60 minutes of a listing. When you click the 1-click bid button, eBay automatically raises your bid by one increment. To use 1-click bidding, you need to be signed in to eBay and have at least one bid on the item already.

3. Click the Continue button.

4. Review your bid, and click the Confirm Bid button. You'll get an email confirming the bid. When the listing ends, you'll receive another email indicating whether you've won the item and an explanation of what you can do next.

Buy It Now Option

Items listed with the Buy It Now symbol can be purchased for the seller's fixed price with no bidding and no waiting.

Auction-style listings with a Buy It Now option give you the choice to bid for the item or simply buy it immediately at a fixed price.

However, as soon as a first bid is placed for the item, Buy It Now is no longer available unless there is a reserve (a seller's minimum price) that hasn't been met. The symbol disappears, and the item goes to the highest bidder in the usual way.

How to Pay

Whether you bid or buy there are four quick steps to complete the purchase.
1. Notification: Buyer and seller receive an email from eBay with final details of the transaction. You can also check My eBay for reminders to guide you through subsequent steps. Pay Now buttons make it even easier.

2. Checkout: Click on the Pay Now button on the closed Item page or in My eBay, then follow the instructions. This provides the total price of the item (including shipping and handling).

3. Payment: Following the seller's instructions, the buyer sends payment. Most sellers accept PayPal, which allows the buyer to pay online instantly with a credit card or bank account.

4. Shipping: The seller ships the goods to the buyer.

If you choose to pay with PayPal, you'll see a screen that lets you log in to an existing PayPal account or register to use PayPal for the first time. After you've completed the transaction, you'll see a PayPal confirmation screen.
